THE DUSTY KNUCKLE

YOUTH FUNDRAISER 2024

On the evening of September 21st 2024, we held an incredible party at the iconic Dalston Roofpark, to help raise funds for the remarkable DK training programme and celebrate the growing community built by the staff and young trainees of this well-loved London food hotspot.

September 21st 2024 @ Dalston Roofpark

On Saturday 21st September we threw the biggest DK party ever and fackin' 'ell it was one to remember!
We’ve been rubbing our heads since and wondering exactly what just happened but a sweaty rave and rooftop vibes defo felt like the perfect way to celebrate 10 yrs of DK, and how far the youth programme has come.

We can't thank everyone enough for showing up and shaking a leg with us up on the roof, it means so much. The community our supporters have helped us to create is the very ingredient that helps carry us and our trainees forwards in our lives...and that in turn means we can keep baking fly-ass pastries and pouring that strong coffee you want. One big beautiful circle.

Everyone from the trainees and staff, to our headline music and food friends has shared what a great time they had, all while walking away with a better understanding of the training programme and what we do at the Dusty Knuckle.

Gotta give a special word and big love to the music, food, and drink headliners on the night.
Ashley Walters, Big Zuu, Rudim3ntal B2B with DJ Target, Clipse, Chloe Robinson, Emerald, Klose One, Max Sinal, and our trainees for creating the vibes on stage.
Ixta Belfrage, Bubala, Manna Burgers, Cally Munchy, Ewarts Jerk, and Gwada Kitchen for a truly delicious dinner line up.
And Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, Duppy Share Rum, 40ft Brewery, and Dalston's Soda for keeping the drinks flowing all night.
The exceptional support from all these DK family members made the night what it was, we couldn't have done it without them.

We're proud to announce that tickets and donations/merch sales on the night have raised a total of:

£30,820 for The Dusty Knuckle Training Programme

It's an amazing amount that allows us to work on improving the resources of our programme. Our efforts never cease, and if you weren't able to make it and would like to support the cause, no sweat!

Wanna support the training programme?

Head to Dalston and Harringay to pick up the last remaining pieces of our sexy-ass Limited Edition Fundraiser t-shirts (check out the pic above - while stocks last!), or make a donation direct to the training program - click the Youth Programme link at the top of the page.

Feels a bit weird not having gazebos and streamers to put up anymore. Shall we start planning 2025? Who shall we get to headline next year...?
